Can I charge a non-Tesla at a Supercharger?
Yes. Since 2022, Tesla has opened the Supercharger network to all EV brands. You need the Tesla app, an account and a payment method. Charging works via CCS or Type 2 – depending on the location and vehicle.
How much does charging at a Tesla Supercharger cost?
Ad-hoc (without a subscription) costs between €0.38 and €0.49/kWh depending on location. Tesla owners can book cheaper rates via the Tesla app. Some rates also include an idle fee after the charging session ends.
What is the difference between V2, V3 and V4?
V2 Superchargers deliver 72–150 kW but share power when two stalls are in use. V3 offers 250 kW per vehicle with no sharing. V4 reaches 350 kW and features a longer cable plus Magic Dock for non-Tesla vehicles.
How do I find the nearest Supercharger?
Use the Tesla app, Tesla navigation, or this map with the "Tesla" filter to find all Supercharger locations. PlugShare and this site also show a full overview.
